Grzegorz Rosinski

Born in 1941 in Stalowa Wola, Poland, Grzegorz Rosiński is a world-renowned comic book artist, best known as the historical illustrator of the Thorgal series. Scarred by the Second World War, Rosiński developed a passion for drawing at an early age. He studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he acquired a solid artistic training. His first works were published in Polish magazines, before he met Belgian scriptwriter Jean Van Hamme. Together, they created the Thorgal series in 1977, which went on to become a veritable phenomenon in Franco-Belgian comics.
