It is with immense pleasure that we announce the holding of the fifth edition of our festival, which this year celebrates its fifth anniversary. For this special edition, our team is working tirelessly to offer you an unforgettable cinematic experience.
We are honored to announce that this edition will be entirely dedicated to the talented filmmaker Christopher Smith, who will be our guest of honor. Other renowned guests will be revealed in due time, adding excitement to this already promising event.
This year's program will include a special day dedicated to Belgian cinema, showcasing the hidden gems that our country has to offer. Additionally, a family day will be offered, featuring films suitable for all members of the family.
But the 7th Aaaargh Retro Film Festival is not limited to feature film screenings. We also have short film screenings, exhibitions, and a cinema merchandise fair for cinephiles to enjoy.
For practical matters, the event will take place at the cultural center of the University of Namur, Quai 22, from Tuesday, October 29th to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. The full program and ticketing information will be released around September 15th.
